The Tazzla Institute for Cultural Diversity was founded in 1993 and is directed by Helene E. Hagan, a North African anthropologist. It is located in Burbank, California.  The Institute has created and sponsored a number of projects over the years. Today, its central project is the Amazigh Film Festival of Los Angeles and the East Coast.
